2-Year Limited Warranty Policy for Inflatable Stand-Up Paddle Boards.

1. Warranty Coverage:

1.1. Maddle warrants that its inflatable stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty.

1.2. This warranty covers the following components of the inflatable SUP:

1.2.1. The core inflatable body, including the main chambers and drop-stitch construction.

1.2.2. The deck pad and traction surface.

1.2.3. The inflation valve(s) and pressure release valve(s).

1.2.4.The fin(s) and fin box(es).

1.2.5. The D-rings, bungee cords, and leash attachment points.

1.2.6. The handles, carrying straps, and backpack/storage bag components.

1.3. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the inflatable SUP and is not transferable. Proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or invoice, may be required to initiate a warranty claim.

1.4. This warranty does not cover any accessories or additional equipment not specifically listed in section 1.2, including but not limited to paddles, pumps, leashes, or other optional attachments.

1.5. Maddle reserves the right to repair or replace any defective part or component covered by this warranty, at its sole discretion. If the exact model or component is no longer available, Maddle may substitute with a comparable model or component of equal or greater value.

1.6. This warranty does not extend to any SUPs purchased from unauthorized retailers or distributors, or SUPs obtained through unauthorized channels.

1.7. This warranty is subject to the proper registration of the inflatable SUP within 30 days of purchase. Failure to register the SUP may limit or void the warranty coverage.

1.8. This warranty is valid only for SUPs used under normal recreational conditions and does not cover any commercial or institutional use, rental operations, or any use beyond the intended purpose of the product.

1.9. Any repairs or modifications made to the inflatable SUP by unauthorized personnel or repair facilities may void this warranty.

1.10. This warranty is in addition to any other rights or remedies provided by applicable consumer protection laws or regulations and does not affect the consumer's statutory rights.

 

2. Scope of Warranty:

2.1. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faulty materials related to the inflatable stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) provided by Maddle. Specifically, it includes but is not limited to:

2.1.1 Delamination, separation, or peeling of the layers of the inflatable SUP body.

2.1.2. Structural defects or failures, such as seam separation, air leakage, or loss of inflation pressure.

2.1.3. Faulty or defective inflation valves, pressure release valves, or any related components.

2.1.4. Malfunctioning or defective fin(s) and fin box(es), including improper installation or detachment.

2.1.5. Failure or breakage of D-rings, bungee cords, or leash attachment points due to manufacturing defects.

2.1.6. Issues with the handles, carrying straps, and backpack/storage bag components, including breakage, detachment, or zipper failure.

2.2. The warranty does not cover damages resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, improper handling, accidents, impacts, punctures, cuts, exposure to excessive heat or cold, exposure to harsh chemicals or solvents, or any other external causes beyond the control of Maddle.

2.3. Any modifications or alterations made to the inflatable SUP by the customer or unauthorized third parties, including but not limited to repairs, additions, or adjustments, may void the warranty.

2.4.This warranty is applicable to SUPs used under normal recreational conditions. It does not cover any commercial or institutional use, rental operations, or any use beyond the intended purpose of the product.

2.5. The warranty coverage is contingent upon proper care, maintenance, and usage of the inflatable SUP in accordance with the instructions, guidelines, and warnings provided by Maddle. Failure to follow these instructions may void the warranty.

2.6. The warranty is not transferable and is valid only for the original purchaser of the inflatable SUP. Proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or invoice, may be required to initiate a warranty claim.

2.7. Maddle reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether a defect or issue falls within the scope of warranty coverage. This determination may involve reviewing photographic evidence, videos, or requiring the return of the defective product for further evaluation.

2.8. In the event of a valid warranty claim, Maddle may choose to repair or replace the defective part or component. If the exact model or component is no longer available, Maddle may substitute with a comparable model or component of equal or greater value.

2.9. This warranty does not cover any accessories or additional equipment not specifically listed in section 2.1, including but not limited to paddles, pumps, leashes, or other optional attachments.

2.10. This warranty is subject to the proper registration of the inflatable SUP within 30 days of purchase. Failure to register the SUP may limit or void the warranty coverage.

 

3. Warranty Claim Procedure:

3.1. If you discover a defect covered by this warranty, you must notify Maddle within 30 days of discovering the defect. Failure to notify within this timeframe may result in the denial of the warranty claim.

3.2. To file a warranty claim, please follow these steps: 

3.2.1. Contact our customer service department at hello@maddleboards.com to initiate the claim process. Provide your contact information, proof of purchase, and a detailed description of the defect or issue encountered. 

3.2.2. If necessary, provide clear photographs or videos illustrating the problem, highlighting the defect or faulty part. The photographs or videos should clearly show the issue, allowing our team to assess the warranty claim accurately.

3.2.3. Maddle may request additional information or documents to support and validate the warranty claim. Please cooperate and promptly provide any requested information, as failure to do so may delay the claim resolution.

3.2.5. If necessary, Maddle may arrange for an authorized representative to inspect the equipment or request the return of the defective part or product for further evaluation. If the return of the product is required, Maddle will provide instructions and, if applicable, a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number.

3.3. All costs associated with shipping the defective part or product for warranty assessment or repair shall be borne by the customer. However, if the warranty claim is deemed valid, Maddle will cover the return shipping costs for repaired or replaced products.

3.4. Upon review and confirmation of a valid warranty claim, Maddle will, at its discretion:

3.4.1. Provide detailed instructions for self-repair, including any necessary replacement parts and guidance.

3.4.2. Arrange for a technician or authorized service provider to repair the equipment on-site, if feasible and deemed necessary.

3.4.5. Arrange for the shipment of replacement parts to the buyer for self-repair, if applicable and deemed necessary.

3.4.6. Arrange for the return of the defective part or product and provide a replacement or repaired item, at our discretion.

3.5. Maddle aims to resolve warranty claims promptly and efficiently. However, please note that the resolution time may vary depending on the nature of the defect, availability of replacement parts, or other factors beyond our control.

3.6. Any repairs or modifications made to the inflatable SUP by unauthorized personnel or repair facilities without prior written approval from Maddle may void this warranty.

3.7. Maddle is not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during the shipping process of the defective part or product. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure proper packaging and secure shipping methods.

 

4. Limitations and Exclusions:

4.1. This warranty does not cover damages or defects resulting from:

4.1.1. Misuse, abuse, negligent use, or improper handling of the inflatable stand-up paddle board (SUP).

4.1.2. Failure to follow the instructions, warnings, or guidelines provided by Maddle regarding inflation, deflation, storage, maintenance, or use of the inflatable SUP.

4.1.3. Acts of nature, accidents, impacts, punctures, cuts, excessive heat or cold, exposure to harsh chemicals or solvents, or any other external causes beyond our control.

4.1.4. Any unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs made to the inflatable SUP.

4.1.5. Failure to properly maintain or service the inflatable SUP, including regular cleaning, inspections, and proper storage.

4.1.6. Any use of the inflatable SUP in a commercial or institutional setting without explicit authorization or suitable commercial warranty coverage.

4.2. This warranty is limited to defects in materials and workmanship and does not cover general wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or superficial scratches or scuffs that do not affect the functionality of the inflatable SUP.

4.3. The warranty does not cover any accessories or additional equipment not specifically listed in the warranty coverage section, including but not limited to paddles, pumps, leashes, or other optional attachments. These items may be subject to separate warranties, if applicable.

4.4. This warranty does not affect any statutory rights that you may have under applicable laws or regulations.

4.5. In the event of a warranty claim, Maddle reserves the right to inspect and evaluate the inflatable SUP to determine if the defect or issue is covered under this warranty. The decision of Maddle regarding warranty coverage and resolution shall be final.

4.6. Any repairs or modifications made to the inflatable SUP by unauthorized personnel or repair facilities without prior written approval from Maddle may void this warranty.

4.7. Maddle shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the inflatable SUP, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

 

5. Warranty Disclaimers:

5.1. The inflatable stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) provided by Maddle are intended for recreational use and are designed to meet specific performance and quality standards. However, due to the nature of water sports and outdoor activities, there are inherent risks involved. Therefore, Maddle cannot guarantee or be held liable for the suitability, safety, or performance of the SUPs in all conditions or for all users.

5.2. Maddle disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party rights.

5.3. Maddle does not warrant or represent that the operation of the inflatable SUPs will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. While we strive to provide reliable and durable products, we cannot guarantee absolute perfection or immunity from defects.

5.4. Maddle shall not be responsible for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of using or not being able to use the inflatable SUPs, including but not limited to any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data.

5.5. Maddle is not responsible for any injury, damage, or harm caused by the use, misuse, or improper handling of the inflatable SUPs. It is the user's responsibility to assess their skill level, physical capabilities, and the surrounding conditions before engaging in any water sports activities with the SUP.

5.6. The warranty provided by Maddle is the sole and exclusive remedy available to the original purchaser for any defects or issues with the inflatable SUPs. Any claims, disputes, or legal actions arising out of or in connection with the warranty shall be subject to the laws and jurisdiction of the province of Quebec.

5.7. Maddle reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the warranty policy at any time without prior notice. However, any changes will not affect the warranty coverage for SUPs purchased prior to the modification or update.

5.8. This warranty policy does not override or limit any rights or remedies provided by applicable consumer protection laws or regulations.

 

90 Days Limited Warranty for accessories and add-ons

1. Warranty Coverage:

1.1. The 90 Days Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

1.2. This warranty applies to stand-up paddle board accessories purchased directly from Maddle or an authorized retailer.

1.3. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and lasts for 90 days.

 

2. Warranty Claim Process:

2.1. To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our customer support team at hello@maddleboards.com within the warranty period. Provide the following information: - Proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice) - Detailed description of the defect or issue - Clear photographs or videos showing the defect or issue, if applicable

2.2. Our customer support team will assess the warranty claim and provide further instructions on how to proceed.

2.3. In some cases, we may require you to return the defective accessory for inspection. Our customer support team will guide you through the return process.

 

3. Warranty Exclusions:

3.1. The 90 Days Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by: - Normal wear and tear - Misuse, abuse, or improper storage - Accidents, impacts, or unauthorized repairs or modifications - Failure to follow product instructions or guidelines

3.2. This warranty does not cover cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the functionality or performance of the accessory.

 

4. Warranty Remedies:

4.1. If a valid warranty claim is approved, we will, at our discretion: - Repair the defective accessory - Replace the defective accessory with an identical or comparable item - Provide a store credit for the value of the defective accessory - Refund the original purchase price of the defective accessory

4.2. The remedy provided will be determined based on the nature of the defect, the availability of replacement parts, and other relevant factors.

4.3. If a replacement accessory is provided, the warranty coverage for the replacement item will be the remaining balance of the original warranty period or 30 days, whichever is longer.

 

5. Limitations of Liability:

5.1. Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund remedies described in Section 4.

5.2. We are not liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use of our stand-up paddle board accessories.

 

6. Warranty Transferability:

6.1. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the stand-up paddle board accessories.

 

7. Changes to the Warranty:

7.1. Maddle reserves the right to modify or update this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
